It is recommended to travel by high-speed rail round trip from Xi'an. The fastest journey from Xi'an North Station to Chengdu East Station takes 3 hours and 27 minutes (e.g., G87 departs at 07:40 and arrives at 11:24). After arrival, take Metro Line 7 to transfer to Line 3 at Chengdu East Station, get off at Xiongmao Dadao Station Exit A, then transfer to Bus D025/198 to directly reach the South Gate of the base, with a travel time of about 1 hour. For the return trip, take High-speed Train G3285 departing at 19:42, arriving back in Xi'an at 23:17. It is suggested to arrive at the base early as pandas are most active in the morning, and on-site shuttle buses can save physical strength.
