Daming Palace Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the heart of Xi’an’s Tang Dynasty legacy, stands as a testament to China’s imperial past. Historical Overview

2007–2010: Reconstruction efforts began based on archaeological excavations, recreating the layout and scale of the original Daming Palace.

2010: Officially opened to the public, showcasing the ruins of the Hanyuan Hall, Xuanzheng Hall, and other imperial structures.

2010s–2020s: Enhanced with interactive exhibits, multimedia displays, and cultural festivals, including the Tang Dynasty Light & Shadow Show.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless.
