Jiangbulake
Jiangbulake, located in Qitai County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, is a 48-square-kilometer alpine paradise formed by glacial activity. Designated a national forest park in 2000 and upgraded to a 4A-level scenic spot in 2015, it showcases Xinjiang’s diverse ecosystems—from verdant meadows to subalpine coniferous forests. The park’s name, meaning "Lord of the River" in Kazakh, reflects its role as a vital watershed for the Tianshan Mountains. Once a rest stop on the ancient Silk Road, it now attracts travelers with its pastoral landscapes and nomadic heritage.
