Early in the morning, when the first ray of sunshine pours over the patchwork of buildings in Shancheng, our journey officially begins. First of all, we will take you into Shancheng Alley, where a large number of buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties have been preserved, and the stone-paved road is lined with old mansions and small stores precipitated by the years, as if a vivid historical scroll is unfolding in front of your eyes.

Afterwards, stroll to White Elephant Street to feel the blend of history and modernity, and be dazzled by the quietness of the Sutra Pavilion and the peculiar landscape of the White Elephant Residence. At lunchtime, we will take you to savor the authentic Chongqing hot pot, experiencing a spicy feast on the tip of your tongue.

In the afternoon, continue your exploration tour to the Huguang Guild Hall, which is an important place to learn about the culture of immigrants from Huguang to Sichuan. Immediately afterward, the mottled wall bricks of the Dongshuimen City Wall Ruins tell the story of the ancient city's past, while the bells of the Luohan Temple add a touch of Zen to this cultural journey.

In the evening, you will arrive at Hongyadong, where the illuminated footstools built on the mountain resemble the dreamy world of Hayao Miyazaki, making you linger.

The third day's tour will take you away from the hustle and bustle of the city and into the embrace of nature. First of all, we will go to the World Natural Heritage Site - Three Natural Bridges. These three huge natural stone bridges spanning the valley are magnificent and are the masterpieces of nature's ingenious workmanship. You can weave under the bridges, look up at the towering stone walls and feel the majesty and power of nature. If time permits, we will also take you to explore the Longshui Gorge Seam, a deep and long canyon that is as breathtaking as nature's carefully carved cracks.

Alternatively, you may choose to visit the Fairy Mountain Maiden National Forest Park, which is characterized by alpine grasslands and forested landscapes, and is known as the "First Pasture in the South" and the "Switzerland of the East". Take a small sightseeing train to travel between the grassland and the forest, enjoying the freshness and tranquility of nature. In the evening, climb up to the Wujiang River Observation Deck and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Wujiang River Gallery from afar, with the river as blue as the setting sun and the green mountains on both sides of the river, which is breathtakingly beautiful.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
