Morning: Cycling on the Haigeng Dam of Dianchi Lake

Morning: Sea of Azaleas on Cangshan Mountain
Cangshan Mountain serves as a natural barrier for Dali, and spring is the season when the azaleas on Cangshan Mountain are in full bloom. The mountainside is adorned with azaleas, transforming the area into a fairy-tale-like wonderland.

Flower Viewing Route:

1. Gantong Cable Car: Take the cable car up the mountain and enjoy the magnificent views of Cangshan along the way.

2. Yudai Road: A walking trail located halfway up Cangshan Mountain, where azaleas bloom in abundance, creating a sea of flowers.

3. Sea of Azaleas: Cangshan Mountain boasts a wide variety of azaleas in different colors, including red, pink, and white. These vibrant hues interweave, forming a breathtakingly beautiful scene.

 

 

The journey concludes in the afternoon. If time permits, you may consider traveling to Lijiang (1.5 hours away) or from Dali to Shangri-La (2.2 hours away). You also have the option to explore Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-La in one trip, as they are all in the same direction. If you don’t plan to visit Yunnan frequently in the future, we recommend including these destinations in your itinerary, as they are among China’s most renowned tourist spots.

 

Transportation Suggestions: Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-La have direct flights to cities such as Chengdu, Kunming, Guilin, Xi’an, Beijing, and Shanghai. However, these flights are not available daily. For specific details, you can consult our travel consultants for personalized recommendations.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
