A day trip to Zhangjiajie National forest
I am traveling alone to there. Is it possible to explore zjj national forest without private tour guide? Could it be done in one full day?

You can explore independently without a private guide—the park has clear signage and free shuttle buses for internal transfers. A one-day trip can cover core areas (e.g., Golden Whip Stream, Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain), but start early (enter before 7:00 AM) and use cable cars/elevators to save time.
Suggested route: Great Oxygen Bar Square → Yuanjiajie (via Bailong Elevator) → Tianzi Mountain (via cable car) → Ten-Mile Gallery (shuttle bus), exiting by 18:00.
