Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, located in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, is China’s largest marine-themed amusement park. Opened in November 2018, it spans 297,000 square meters across six themed zones: Polar Pass, Marine Wonder, Deep Sea Secret, Ice & Snow Kingdom, Volcano Bay, and Tropical Rainforest. The park combines marine life education with adrenaline-pumping rides, housing over 30,000 marine creatures, including whale sharks, beluga whales, and emperor penguins. Designated a national 4A-rated tourist attraction, it draws 3 million annual visitors.

Historical Overview
Construction began in 2015 with an investment of ¥3 billion. The park opened in 2018 as Haichang Group’s flagship marine tourism project. In 2019, it set a Guinness World Record for the “largest underwater viewing dome” (360° whale shark aquarium). The park expanded in 2021 with the addition of the Ice & Snow Kingdom zone, featuring indoor ski slopes. Annual events include the International Dolphin Festival (July) and Halloween Spooky Sea (October).

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal!
