A Unique Experience · Cloud Sea (Walking on Clouds)
The dense and uniform cloud sea is the first highlight of Niu Bei Mountain. Sometimes it is smooth like a mirror, sometimes it is turbulent like a wave, and sometimes it cascades down along the mountain ridge to form a magnificent cloud waterfall. Standing at the top of the mountain, it feels as if you are walking on the clouds. The surrounding continuous mountains appear and disappear in the cloud waves, just like the Penglai Fairyland. The best viewing periods: before and after sunrise in the morning and after the rain when the sky clears up.

When the first ray of sunlight pierces the sky, the sea of clouds gradually turns golden yellow. Suddenly, the numerous peaks and mountains seem to vanish into thin air, and there are countless rays of light; suddenly, the clouds move and the mountains dance, surging and surging with great force. When the fog comes and the clouds move, the green mountains stretch endlessly, layer upon layer, giving people a sense of tranquility, calmness, and enlightenment. Photography Tips: You need to occupy the shooting position half an hour in advance. Use a tripod for time-lapse photography to record the entire process of the changes in light and shadow.

The King of Shu Mountain - Gongga Snow Mountain stands at the highest point directly to the west of Niu Bei Mountain. When the rose-golden rays of the setting sun or the dawn light illuminate the summit of Gongga, the entire mountain is ignited, presenting an indescribably magnificent scene. Niu Bei Mountain can be regarded as the best viewing spot for the entire view of Gongga Mountain.

This rare phenomenon of "Buddha's Light" is a colorful halo formed by the diffraction of sunlight through clouds and fog, casting the viewer's shadow within the halo. It usually appears occasionally on sunny afternoons when there are clouds in the sky. Those who witness it are considered to be fated to meet.
Six Wonders · Star Track (Stars Within Reach)
At an altitude of 3,666 meters, the night sky without any light pollution is the ultimate destination for astronomy enthusiasts. On a clear night, the Milky Way stretches across the sky, and the countless stars seem within reach. By using long exposure, the trajectories of the stars can be recorded, creating a dreamlike scene.
Humanistic Ingenuity - Artistic Dwelling on the Cliff
The buildings here are not merely residences; they are also works of art that coexist with the sea of clouds.
Starry Nebula Wild Luxury Campsite: The soulful landmark of Niu Bei Mountain. One after another, white tents are scattered on the summit at an altitude of 3,666 meters. At night, when the lights come on, it seems as if one has fallen into the stars. Staying here, as soon as you open the door, you will be greeted by the rolling clouds and the golden sun. It is truly an ultimate experience of "sleeping in the scenery".
Qingyun Dao Hiking Trail: A brand-new hiking climbing route to be released in 2024, with a total length of approximately 2 kilometers. Ascend along the "Qingyun Dao", with mountain rhododendrons and fir forests on both sides. The end leads directly to the Bright Peak Viewing Platform, symbolizing the auspicious meaning of "climbing to the clouds smoothly".
Bright Peak Viewing Platform: The central area on the summit, offering 360° unobstructed views. The platform features an art gallery and a starry sky restaurant, making it the ideal spot for observing the sea of clouds and witnessing the sunrise.
Pu Madi Youth Hostel: Located halfway up the mountain in Pu Madi Village, it gained fame due to the program "Dream Home Renovation" on Eastern Television. This architecturally striking building is an important stopover point for the last village closest to the summit, carrying the dreams and memories of countless hikers.
Photography Tips:
The best panoramic shooting position: the viewing platform at Bright Summit, which can capture the entire view of Gongga Mountain, the sea of clouds, and the tent camp at the same time.
Starfield shooting location: The area around the camp and the elevated part of "Qingyun Road", avoiding light interference;
Sunshine Mountain: On the west side of the viewing platform, from 5 to 6 p.m. (in winter) or from 6 to 7 a.m. (in summer).
Drone: Capable of flying (subject to weather conditions and park regulations), it can capture an epic view from the perspective of a god.
