72-hour visa-free Trip

Calculation method：
Starting point of time: The starting point is the time when the border control authorities process the entry of foreigners, i.e., the calculation starts from 00:00 on the following day of the day of entry.

Calculation of time: 72 consecutive hours, i.e. three consecutive days after the date of entry.

Starting and ending time of 72-hour visa-free transit:
Starting time: 00:00 on the day following the day of entry.

End time: The time after 72 hours from 00:00 on the next day of the day of entry, i.e. the end of the same time on the third day.

Example illustration:
Suppose the applicant enters and applies for a 72-hour transit visa waiver in city A in China, and the time of entry is 11:00 a.m. on August 1, 2024. Then his 72-hour transit visa-free period will be calculated from 00:00 on August 2, 2024, i.e. from 0:00 on August 2, 2024 to 23:59 on August 4, 2024 is the visa-free stay period. He must leave China or travel to his next destination within this time period.
