Due to the limitations of the 72-hour visa-free transit policy, travelers are usually not allowed to leave the administrative area of Guilin for other cities, so if you are traveling to Guilin then the refined attractions of Guilin itself are already within the scope of the visa-free transit stay.

Guilin City Attractions:

Elephant Trunk Hill: one of the iconic attractions of Guilin, named after its mountain shape resembling a giant elephant drinking from the river. 

Two Rivers and Four Lakes: Includes four lakes, Cedar Lake, Rong Lake, Gui Lake and Mulong Lake, as well as parts of the Li River and the Taohua River. Visitors can take a night cruise on the two rivers and four lakes to enjoy Guilin's unique city water scenery and sparkling night view.

Yushan Park: The park is a simple and elegant place with pavilions and flowers. Visitors can experience the history, culture and natural scenery of Guilin here.
Seven Star Park: Famous for the Seven Star Rock, it is one of the largest comprehensive parks in Guilin. 

Yangshuo County Attractions:
Ten Mile Gallery: Located in Yangshuo's Moon Mountain, the scenery along the way is picturesque and idyllic. Visitors can ride or drive around and experience the nature's ingenious workmanship.

Rafting on the Yulong River: Rafting on the Yulong River, you can enjoy the green mountains and idyllic scenery on both sides of the river. It is an exciting and pleasant activity for tourists who like outdoor sports.

West Street: one of the most famous commercial streets in Yangshuo County, famous for its unique exotic flavour and rich food culture. Visitors can savour local cuisine, buy handicrafts and experience the strong commercial atmosphere here.

Moon Mountain: Named for its resemblance to a curved moon, Moon Mountain is another iconic attraction in Yangshuo. 

Big Banyan Tree Scenic Spot: Here a thousand-year-old banyan tree has witnessed the vicissitudes of history.
